📘 SSAT Prep – Sessions I & II (Mater Dei-Only)
🕒 Meets right after school, from 3:00–4:30 PM, providing a convenient and familiar setting for focused SSAT preparation.
📚 Same curriculum and resources as the broader SSAT program, including:
• Three full-length practice tests
• Robust vocabulary program
• Traditional textbook-based instruction
• Digital access to online materials for support and flexibility
📍 Classes meet in the 8A Homeroom at Mater Dei — no travel required!
💻 Students receive full access to digital materials, including video lessons, vocabulary drills, and online quizzes — helpful for review or if a session is missed.
🧑🏫 Ideal for students preparing for the October 11 or November 15 paper SSAT test dates.
📘 SSAT Prep – Session III (Open Enrollment)
⏰ Meets 4:00–5:30 PM, immediately after school — available to Mater Dei and non-Mater Dei students.
🧠 A great option for Mater Dei boys who want a later-season prep course before the December 13th SSAT test.
🏫 Same classroom location and access to all digital materials included.
📝 HSPT Prep – Mater Dei-Only (Fall 2025)
📅 Runs from Monday, November 10 to Monday, November 24, 2025, with seven total sessions.
🗓️ Meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 3:00–4:15 PM.
🎯 Focused instruction on all five sections of the HSPT:
• Verbal
• Quantitative
• Reading
• Mathematics
• Language (Grammar)
📚 Course includes high-quality print and digital resources tailored to the HSPT’s format and pacing.
🔁 Class is drill-heavy and concept-focused, taking advantage of the HSPT’s predictable structure.
📗 Barron’s HSPT Prep Book Required
📖 Students are asked to purchase the Barron’s HSPT Prep Book in advance for use with homework; in-class materials are fresh, rigorous, and not simply pulled from test prep books.
